Why the status reads this way
VIII edition Fridays 2026-10-02 to 2026-11-27 at CEM Estruch, El Prat. Chess-results lists the VII edition on 2025-10-03 (organiser field Club Escacs el Prat) and the VIII on 2026-10-02 (venue CEM Estruch; organiser field empty). Organiser and venue are taken from the chess-results search listing, not from the tournament page. secondary · [2]
